WELCOME TO HAPPY ROVER

Delicious Food from our classic land rover!

The Happy Rover Catering Company was established in order to provide amazing wood fired pizzas to the people of Derbyshire and it’s surrounding counties. Our enthusiasm and passion is evident in the food we serve and the service we provide to our customers.

Every aspect of our process is designed to ensure an amazing pizza is produced, whether it’s the fact that all our staff are NCASS trained, from the careful selection and use of local, proven suppliers for our ingredients, or the quality silver birch wood we use to cook the pizza with. All combine to ensure a high quality service and a high quality pizza.

A wood fired pizza benefits from the intense heat which caramelises crisps and sears whilst the wood creates an amazing flavour that only a wood fire can create.

The Pizza oven is mounted in our Landrover Defender which is our ‘Happy Rover’, which provides a nice theme at festivals and private functions alike, whilst making access to events simple and with minimum fuss.

Our Love for Pizza

According to research by the Pizza, Pasta and Italian Food Association, pizza is now the most popular food purchased in British restaurants; the second most popular item bought in supermarkets for dinner and fourth most popular dinner item purchased in fast food outlets.

We at Happy Rover also love pizzas and are aware that the very best tasting pizzas are the ones cooked on an open wood fire and delivered straight to the customer, piping hot, fresh and ready to eat.
